Moscow - Saba:
Rodion Miroshnik, Russia's Ambassador for Special Assignments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, announced that the Istanbul negotiations and Ukraine's claims of a desire for a peaceful settlement have not resulted in a reduction in the intensity of its bombing of Russian civilian targets.
RT quoted the Russian ambassador as saying on his Telegram channel: "The negotiations that began in Istanbul and the Ukrainian side's statements about its alleged desire to reach a peaceful settlement have not led to a reduction in the intensity of strikes by Ukrainian forces on Russian civilian targets. The number of civilians injured by armed forces attacks in Kyiv over the past week has exceeded 100, and the number of strikes by Ukraine has remained at approximately 300 per day."
He pointed out that half of the Russian civilians affected were killed or injured as a result of Kyiv's deliberate use of attack drones.
