Gaza – SABA:

The United Nations issued a dire warning on Tuesday, stating that nearly 14,000 infants in the Gaza Strip could die within 48 hours if life-saving humanitarian aid does not reach them in time.

According to the UN’s official website, Martin Griffiths, UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs, stated: "There are 14,000 infants who will die in the next 48 hours if we cannot reach them." He stressed that UN teams are working to rescue as many of these children as possible.

The senior UN official emphasized the urgent need to "flood" Gaza with humanitarian aid, adding: "We still have many people on the ground—in medical centers and schools—trying to assess the needs."
