The European Union's High Representative for Foreign Policy stated on Tuesday that the Israeli occupation’s decision to allow aid into Gaza is merely "a drop in the ocean."
For his part, the Spanish Foreign Minister said in a statement that the situation in Gaza is "unacceptable and catastrophic," stressing that aid must be allowed in immediately.
Meanwhile, the Dutch Foreign Minister called for humanitarian aid to be delivered to Gaza without conditions. He also demanded that the Israeli occupation agree to a ceasefire while condemning the expansion of settlements in the West Bank.
Slovenia’s Foreign Minister stated that "Gaza is bleeding," adding, "Our duty is to protect the Palestinian people and ensure aid enters without any obstacles." She emphasized the importance of supporting the efforts of the United Nations and humanitarian organizations, particularly UNRWA.
Norwegian Foreign Minister, for his part, said the situation in Gaza is "catastrophic," and that the Palestinian people need help now "more than ever."
