Frank Smyth, head of the Organization to Protect Journalists, said on Sunday that the targeting of Palestinian journalists in Gaza constitutes war crimes, and that there is no evidence to justify Israel's targeting of them.
Smyth said, in an interview with Al Jazeera, that what we are seeing is the result of the international community's failure to confront the atrocities committed by Israel.
He pointed out that major powers are not taking action to condemn Israeli war crimes in Gaza at the International Criminal Court.
This morning, journalists Khaled Abu Saif and his wife, journalist Nour Qandil, Abdulrahman Al-Abdallah, Aziz Al-Hajjar, and Ahmed Al-Zinati, along with their children and families, were killed when their homes and tents were bombed.
