Ottawa - Saba:
Canada's new Foreign Minister Anita Anand on Wednesday considered the Zionist enemy authorities' use of food as a tool for political pressure in their genocide against the Gaza Strip "unacceptable."
In a statement, Anand said that more than 50,000 people have been killed as a result of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, stressing the need to exert efforts to achieve a ceasefire in the Strip.
She explained that "Canada will continue to maintain this position," referring to its support for a peaceful solution and its call to end the suffering of civilians in Gaza.
The enemy forces continue to commit new massacres in the Gaza Strip, marking the 583rd day of the ongoing aggression, coinciding with the closure of crossings and the use of starvation as a new weapon of war.
