Gaza - Saba:
Dr. Marwan Al-Hams, Director General of Field Hospitals at Gaza Ministry of Health, confirmed on Wednesday that the Zionist bombing targeted the inner courtyard of the European Gaza Hospital, not just its surroundings.
Earlier today, a drone strike hit the hospital’s courtyard, resulting in injuries. The day before, warplanes carried out what was described as "intense" airstrikes on the same courtyard and the surrounding area.
In a press statement, Al-Hams said, "The bombing has forced us to suspend operations at the European Gaza Hospital until we can repair the sewage and water networks."
He added that no ambulance can now reach the emergency department due to the damage caused by the shelling.
The enemy also targeted a bulldozer attempting to repair the damage, completely destroying it. This may compel the Health Ministry to close most of the hospital’s departments.
Regarding the enemy’s claims, Al-Hams stated, "We have no information about the enemy’s alleged justifications for bombing the hospital’s courtyard. However, we are accustomed to such narratives from the enemy whenever a hospital is bombed."
