Occupied Quds - Saba:
The Palestinian Prisoners' Media Office reported that detainee Samir Abu Na'ama (65 years old), from the town of Abu Dis and held in "Raymon" prison, is suffering from a serious deterioration in his health due to deliberate medical neglect by the prison administration.
In a statement issued today, Monday, the office explained that Abu Na'ama suffers from spinal disc issues and torn shoulder muscles, severely limiting his mobility and causing him extreme pain. Despite this, he is only given painkillers while being denied the necessary medical treatment.
The office noted that since the events of October 7, 2023, Abu Na'ama has faced repeated assaults by the prison administration, further worsening his physical and psychological condition. No serious steps have been taken to improve his health or transfer him for proper medical care.
The Prisoners' Media Office called on international and human rights organizations to intervene immediately to save Abu Na'ama's life and hold the enemy accountable for its systematic policies against sick detainees, which constitute a blatant violation of international law and amount to humanitarian crimes.
