More than 500 international parliamentarians from around the world have issued an urgent appeal to US President Donald Trump, urging him to intervene immediately to stop the "genocide and systematic starvation" being inflicted on the residents of the Gaza Strip.
According to Quds Press Agency, the appeal was included in an open letter issued by the "Parliamentarians of the Free World" campaign on 15/07/2020. The signatories emphasized that "the indiscriminate bombing, comprehensive blockade, systematic destruction of infrastructure, and targeting of civilians in Gaza amount to crimes against humanity that require urgent international action."
