An expanded meeting with Scout leaders from the districts of Capital Sana'a was held on Sunday, chaired by Abdullah Obaid, Director of the Youth and Sports Office, to review the progress of Scouting activities within the ongoing summer programs.
The meeting was attended by members of the Subcommittee for Summer Activities and Courses Ali Shamlan, as well as the Chairman of the Technical Committee for Course Activities, Abdullah al-Madani.
Participants reviewed the key achievements and activities implemented since the beginning of the summer schools across the capital’s districts.
Discussions emphasized the vital role of the Scouting movement in instilling national values, fostering cooperation and discipline among students, and contributing to the development of a conscious and capable generation.
Obaid stressed the importance of advancing Scouting work, expanding its programs to enhance participants’ skills and character, and encouraging community initiatives and leadership among Scouts.
Shamlan highlighted the need for improved coordination between Scout teams and the offices of youth, sports, and education to better achieve both educational and national objectives.
Al-Madani praised the dedication of Scout leaders and their significant contribution to the success of this year’s summer activities.
