Sana'a - (Sِaba):
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has forecast hot weather in the deserts, coastal plains, and coastal areas, along with scattered rainfall over parts of the western mountainous highlands during the next 24 hours.
According to the weather bulletin issued by the center, hot conditions are expected in the deserts and coastal plains, while coastal areas will experience hot and humid weather, with maximum temperatures ranging between 35°C and 41°C.
Scattered rainfall, possibly accompanied by thunderstorms at times, is likely over parts of the western mountainous highlands.
During the past 24 hours, scattered thunderstorms occurred outside official weather stations in parts of the governorates of Taiz, Ibb, Dhamar, Raymah, Sana’a, Mahwit, Hajjah, and Saada.
The center has warned citizens about the hot weather in the deserts and coastal plains, as well as the hot and humid conditions along the coast. It advised avoiding direct exposure to sunlight during midday hours and drinking plenty of fluids.
The center also cautioned against being in or crossing flood-prone valleys and streambeds during or after rainfall.
