The spokesman for the Government of Change and Construction, Minister of Information Hashem Sharaf al-Din, confirmed that the government has achieved many accomplishments in confronting the second round of US aggression against Yemen.
In his clarification, the government spokesman reviewed the achievements and actions carried out by the government, which reflect its ability to confront any aggression or escalation.
The following is the text of the clarification:
In accordance with the emphasis placed by the Revolution Leader, Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi - may God protect him - and the directives of President Mahdi al-Mashat and Prime Minister Ahmed al-Rahwi, to enhance the readiness and performance of all ministries and state institutions to confront the second round of US aggression, the Government of Change and Construction - by the grace of God Almighty - has carried out important tasks and tremendous efforts, which have gained the satisfaction of citizens and given them confidence in the government, its seriousness, and its ability to confront any aggression or escalation, most notably the military operations of the Yemeni Armed Forces. Given the scale of the aggression and the nature of the crimes targeting civilians, civilian objects, and vital service facilities, as well as the various challenges, the government has been able-by God's grace and assistance, and with record speed-to achieve the following:
1. Controlling the oil derivatives crisis. [Ministry of Oil and Minerals].
2. Restoring all power stations to operation. [Ministry of Electricity].
3. Commencing maintenance work at Sana'a Airport and the ports of Hodeida and Ras Issa, with the aim of restoring their operational, technical, and professional readiness soon. [Ministry of Transport and Public Works].
In a related context, confronting the second round of US aggression, which began on the 18th of Ramadan and ended in defeat on the 8th of Dhu al-Qi'dah, by the grace and support of God Almighty, the government has fulfilled its duties in most areas, including:
- Intensifying oversight of government performance, holding meetings with ministers, and monitoring developments as they unfold. [Prime Minister - Prime Minister's Office].
- Rapid communication with affected citizens through field visits to their homes, targeted neighborhoods, and hospitals, expressing sympathy, consolation, and concern for them, sharing their grief, as well as reassuring the community and workers in targeted service facilities through visits and managing immediate action to address the damage. - Maintaining security stability and public tranquility despite conspiracies. [Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs - Ministry of Interior - Security and Intelligence Service].
- Activating follow-up and coordination efforts in the main operations room of the Emergency Committee and the outcomes of the Supreme Emergency Committee. [Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Administration and Local Development].
- Controlling fires in targeted locations, evacuating the martyrs and wounded, and providing assistance. [Ministry of Interior - Civil Defense].
- Providing health services to the injured, including first aid and medical treatment. [Ministry of Health].
- Providing urgent humanitarian aid and assistance to those affected. [Ministry of Social Affairs].
- Confronting hostile media misinformation, rumour-mongering, and incitement campaigns. Delivering media messages domestically and internationally about the aggression's crimes. Highlighting Yemen's leadership, people, and armed forces' resistance to the aggression. [Ministry of Information].
- Maintaining the stability of the supply situation for goods and services, both in terms of availability and price. [Ministry of Economy, Industry, and Investment].
- Maintaining the stability of the exchange rate in the country. [Ministry of Finance - Central Bank].
- Continuing general mobilization activities and summer courses. [Ministry of Defense - Ministry of Youth and Sports].
- Addressing the international community and international organizations to condemn the aggression. [Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Justice and Human Rights].
- Continuing telecommunications services in all free governorates despite the enemy's bombing of many stations in several governorates. [Ministry of Communications and Information Technology].
- Completing basic and secondary school exams. [Ministry of Education and Scientific Research].
- Initiating executive procedures to implement President Mahdi Al-Mashat's directives regarding the boycott of American-Zionist goods and preventing their entry or presence in local markets. [Ministry of Economy, Industry, and Investment].
- Ministries will continue to carry out their responsibilities in a normal manner despite the risks and threats. [All Ministers].
