Sana’a - Saba:
The brutal Israeli aggression, coordinated with the American enemy, targeting Al-Hodeida Governorate—resulting in the bombing of Al-Hodeida port and Bajil Cement Factory, and the martyrdom of two workers and injury of at least 42 civilians as an initial toll—has been met with international, Arab, and local condemnation as a blatant crime and a flagrant violation of the principles and rules of international law.
A Blatant Crime
In an international reaction, the Islamic Republic of Iran strongly condemned the Zionist military aggression on Al-Hudaydah port and other Yemeni infrastructure, describing it as a blatant crime and a flagrant violation of international legal norms.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei, in a statement early Tuesday, emphasized that the Zionist entity’s attacks on ports and industrial and residential facilities in Yemen are carried out with the support and participation of the United States. He described these attacks as gross violations of the law and a breach of the principles of the United Nations Charter, calling for effective mobilization and action by the international community and regional countries to halt the killing and destruction being committed by the U.S. and the Zionist entity in Islamic nations.
Baghaei asserted: “The only way to prevent the spread of insecurity in the region is to stop the genocide and crimes of the Zionist entity in Gaza and to end its impunity.”
Flagrant Violation
Lebanon’s Hezbollah also strongly condemned the Israeli-American aggression on Yemen, which targeted vital facilities and civilian infrastructure in Al-Hudaydah port.
In a statement, Hezbollah said the aggression constitutes a “defined war crime that violates all international laws, norms, and conventions.”
It added: “The resilient Yemeni people, who were not deterred by fleets, warplanes, and tons of destructive missiles, and who have sacrificed hundreds of martyrs and wounded, remain unwavering with their steadfast and courageous leadership in their honorable support for Gaza. This aggression will only increase their resolve and determination to continue aiding the Palestinian people by imposing new equations and tightening the sea and air blockade on the Zionist enemy, regardless of the cost.”
The party expressed full solidarity with “the proud Yemeni people” and praised their “wise and courageous leadership.”
It also called for “the highest levels of condemnation and denunciation from all free nations and active forces in the world,” emphasizing that this aggression requires an urgent and effective response from the Arab and Islamic world to assume responsibility and raise their voice against Zionist and American arrogance.
A War Crime
The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas also strongly condemned the Israeli aggression on Yemen, targeting civilian sites in Al-Hudaydah city and its port.
In a statement, Hamas said this brutal aggression is “a war crime and a systematic act of state terrorism.”
It added that the aggression comes within the framework of Netanyahu’s failed attempts to deter Yemen and the Ansar Allah movement from their heroic role in supporting the Gaza Strip amid the ongoing genocide against innocent civilians.
The statement noted: “The Zionist enemy, which was struck by a qualitative missile blow, is trying in vain through this aggression to salvage its shattered image after all its defensive systems failed to intercept the Yemeni missile,” stressing that Yemen and its leadership have, after each wave of aggression, affirmed their insistence on continuing along the path of dignity, honor, and glory—embodied in their heroic stance with the Palestinian people during 18 months of genocidal war under the world’s silent watch.
The movement called on “all components of the Arab and Islamic nations to unite efforts and energies to confront this aggression and counter the occupation’s schemes and crimes against the region’s states and peoples.”
Popular Mobilization
In turn, the Palestinian Resistance Committees declared that this criminal aggression targets the entire nation and announced full solidarity with the Yemeni people, leadership, and army in facing the Zionist-American-Western aggression.
They stated that the barbaric Zionist aggression on Al-Hudaydah port will not change the humiliating defeat the occupation suffered on Sunday after its failure to intercept Yemeni missiles that reached Ben Gurion Airport and halted air traffic.
The statement affirmed that the Zionist target bank in Yemen is worthless, repeating itself by striking civilian infrastructure, which will only bring more failure and more Yemeni missile strikes deep inside the Zionist entity.
The Resistance Committees emphasized that the aggression will escalate both popular and military mobilization and increase missile strikes by the Yemeni people and their armed forces in support of the Palestinian people.
The Steadfast People
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine also strongly condemned the treacherous Zionist-American aggression on Yemen, targeting Al-Hudaydah port and civilian locations in the western governorate.
In a statement on its Telegram channel, it said that the participation of over 30 Zionist warplanes in the bombing of Yemen under an American umbrella is a continuation of the genocidal crimes this criminal alliance commits across the region—from Palestine to Yemen—particularly against children and civilians.
The Front stressed that this new crime reflects strategic failure and desperation in the face of Yemen’s qualitative deterrence, which has succeeded in shifting the conflict into the heart of the Zionist entity and establishing a new equation: the enemy is no longer safe in its airports or vital facilities.
It affirmed that such attacks will not weaken Yemen but will strengthen its resilience and resolve.
The Front expressed full solidarity with the Yemeni people and armed forces, calling on the free people and active forces of the world to assume responsibility, confront these heinous crimes, and hold this criminal alliance accountable for crimes against humanity.
The Usurping Entity
The Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine also condemned the Zionist-American aggression on Yemen.
In a Telegram statement, it said: “The crime committed by the usurping entity against our Yemeni brothers reflects the extent of pain and humiliation suffered by the Zionist regime at the hands of the brave Yemeni armed forces, which imposed an air blockade.”
It added that the airstrikes on several civilian sites are a continuation of the criminal practices against the nations of our Ummah and civilian targets, serving only as a show.
The movement stated: “Everyone knows that the Zionist entity is incapable of achieving what the American killing machine has failed to do during its long-standing aggression against the Yemeni people.”
It praised the “heroism and courage of the Yemeni people, especially our brothers in the armed forces who confront American arrogance and Zionist thuggery.”
It declared: “We are confident that the noble and courageous Yemeni people will not back down an inch. Instead, American and Zionist crimes will only increase their determination and steadfastness after Yemeni blood has mixed with Palestinian blood in defense of the Ummah’s sanctities and dignity in this era of disgraceful Arab impotence.”
Zionist Failure
The Palestinian Mujahideen Movement also condemned the Zionist-American aggression on Yemen that targeted Al-Hudaydah port and civilian facilities.
In its statement, the movement affirmed its constant support and solidarity with the Yemeni people.
It said the brutal aggression reflects the deep failure and inability of the Zionist-American alliance in the face of Yemen’s firm will.
The movement added that the attack highlights the inability of the Zionist and American forces to break the sea and air blockade imposed by Yemen in solidarity with Palestine.
It saluted “the valiant Yemeni people and Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi and the mujahid leadership, who have never hesitated in supporting the oppressed in Palestine despite aggression, siege, and conspiracy.”
Local political components, including the Joint Meeting Parties, the “Insan” Organization, and the Southern Movement participating in the National Dialogue Conference—signatories to the Peace and Partnership Agreement—also condemned the brutal Israeli aggression on Al-Hudaydah Governorate, which resulted in the destruction of Al-Hudaydah port, Bajil Cement Factory, and the fall of martyrs and wounded.
