Hodeida - Saba:
The Public Telecommunications Corporation, the General Postal Authority, and Telemen Company in Hodeida province organized a speech event on Monday marking the anniversary of the "Sarkha" (The Cry) against the arrogant powers, under the slogan "The Slogan is a Weapon and a Stance."
The event was attended by the Governorate’s Deputy for Services Affairs, Muhammad Halisi, and the Deputy for Culture and Media Affairs, Ali Qushar, who emphasized that the slogan launched by the martyred leader Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi was not a passing phrase, but rather a cry of awareness and a comprehensive confrontation project that laid the foundation for popular mobilization against tyrannical and arrogant forces, foremost among them the U.S. and Israel.
Qushar noted that the Quranic project altered the course of events, fostering political and cultural awareness that restored the nation’s dignity and exposed decades-long tools of hegemony aimed at distorting consciousness and misaligning priorities. He highlighted that Yemen today reaps the fruits of this stance through its resilience and heroic deeds.
He added that the Quranic project established a solid intellectual foundation to counter foreign cultures, stressing that adherence to the "Sarkha" means upholding the faith-based project in its jihadist and moral dimensions. He called for transmitting this awareness to future generations through media activities and institutions.
For his part, Sheikh Ali Al-Ahdal, head of the Scholars and Learners Unit in the province, stated that the "Sarkha" marked a pivotal turning point, breaking the wall of fear and restoring to society the values of dignity and loyalty to God and His Messenger. He urged continued commitment to this stance in both words and actions in daily life.
He affirmed that the Quranic slogan carried a comprehensive liberating message, becoming a symbol of steadfastness , rejection of domination, and ushering in a new era of collective awareness. He emphasized that principled positions are not limited to occasions but must be reflected in consistent and ongoing stances.
The event was attended by branch directors of the Telecommunications Corporation (Ali Hiba Makki), Hodeidah Post (Hussein Habib), and Telemen Company (Walid Al-Ghaili). Amjad Al-Adhari, delivering a speech on behalf of the organizing entities, stated that entrenching the culture of the "Sarkha" strengthens societal immunity and deepens institutions' connection to the nation’s causes.
He highlighted the significance of this anniversary at a time when normalization regimes are crumbling and Zionist aggression crimes against the Palestinian people are escalating, reaffirming that Yemen was and will remain at the forefront of free stances in support of Palestine and the oppressed in Gaza.
