London - Saba:
Activists raised the Palestinian flag via a drone during a rugby match between England and Italy in London, in protest against the Allianz insurance company, which has an insurance agreement with Elbit Systems, one of the largest Zionist arms companies.
Activists from the Palestine Action organization raised the flag at the Allianz stadium, which hosted the match, yesterday, Sunday, and the protest took place at the 67th minute of the match, as part of the Six Nations Rugby Championship.
According to a statement by the organization, it targeted the company because it has an insurance agreement with the Zionist company that produces nearly 85% of the drones used by the Zionist enemy army.
“Unlike Elbit’s drones, which are used to kill and maim Palestinians, our drone came peacefully to deliver a message to the stadium’s owner, Allianz, to stop providing it with security,” the organization said in a statement.
The statement confirmed that Elbit tested its weapons on Palestinians, stressing that “without the security provided by Allianz, Elbit would not have been able to produce the weapons that were tested on Palestinians in Britain.”
Although the match was briefly stopped due to the incident, it continued later, with commentator Nick Mullins saying: “If you’re wondering why the match is being stopped now, it’s because of a drone flying over the stadium, broadcasting a political message.”
