International winger Ousmane Dembele scored a new hat-trick for Paris Saint-Germain to lead them to a remarkable 5-2 victory over host Brest last night, in the 20th round of the French Football League, before the two matches expected between them this month in the play-offs to qualify for the round of 16 of the Champions League.
With this victory, Saint-Germain raised its score to 50 points, moving 13 points away from runner-up Marseille, who will meet Lyon on Sunday.
Saint-Germain has not lost in the league since the beginning of the current season, achieving 15 wins against five draws.
PSG also maintained their unbeaten record away from home in the league in 34 consecutive matches (26 wins and eight draws).
