Cairo - Saba:
The head of the leadership council of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, Muhammad Darwish, confirmed today, Wednesday, that the "Al-Aqsa Flood" battle broke the myth of the Zionist occupation that lasted 76 years, and returned the Palestinian cause to the forefront of global attention.
According to what was reported by the "Palestine Today" news agency, this came during a speech he delivered at a reception ceremony for prisoners released from the occupation prisons who were deported outside Palestine and are currently in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.
Darwish stressed that the steadfastness of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip has made them a global icon of challenge and resistance.. directing a salute to everyone who contributed to achieving this victory, saying: "Greetings to everyone who participated with us in this great victory."
He pointed out that the Zionist enemy tried to exterminate the Palestinian people in Gaza, but the result was 15 months of steadfastness, defiance and endless giving from the sons of the Palestinian people in Gaza, the West Bank and everywhere.
He said: "During 15 months of displacement, homelessness, calamities and tons of bombs, the heroism of the Qassam Brigades emerged, leading the Palestinian people towards victory and liberation, God willing."
He stressed that these glorious days proved that the occupying entity failed to break the determination and faith of the Palestinians.. pointing out that the resistance in recent months has made the enemy taste stubborn and solid resistance.
Darwish pointed out that the "Al-Aqsa Flood" battle carried major messages, the most important of which is that the solid resistance based on faith and belief is capable of confronting the Nazi enemy.. saying: "History has taught us that victory was the ally of the resistance every time, no matter how strong the occupation was."
She explained that the battle revealed the falsehood of the Zionist power, as the system of sponsoring the occupying entity collapsed in one hour on October 7, then America rushed with its aircraft carriers and arsenal to stop the occupation on its feet.
He stressed that the message of the flood is an affirmation that the struggling Palestinian people will achieve victory, and that this epic will not stop until Al-Aqsa Mosque returns honorable and dignified.
He also pointed out that the battle has brought the Palestinian cause back to the forefront of the world, as Palestine has become the number one cause in the world.
Darwish called on the leadership of the Hamas movement to the Palestinian factions to rally around one goal, which is liberation from the occupation, and said: "It is strange about the reconciliation dialogues, where we agree and then each of us goes his own way."
He explained that the Palestinian Authority refuses to form a national unity government or a relief committee for Gaza, calling for unifying efforts and cooperation to achieve common goals.
He stressed that the Palestinian people, despite their small number, have a strong will.. Noting that 300 thousand Palestinians returned to their areas on the first day of returning to the north, he asked: "Is this a people that can be displaced?"
Darwish praised the sacrifices made by Gaza.. considering that it has become a global icon of steadfastness.
The head of the Hamas leadership council called on Arab brothers to support Gaza in the relief and recovery phase, saying: "Come on, Arab brothers, let's support Gaza to recover and dry its tears, and it must be supported to complete the liberation march."
Darwish thanked everyone who stood with the Palestinian people in their battle, including Hezbollah, Ansar Allah, and their brothers in Iraq and Iran.
He stressed that the Palestinian people are capable of liberating their homeland, but they need the support of Arab brothers and the world.
Darwish concluded his speech by emphasizing that the future belongs to free Palestine and dear Quds, saying: "The Palestinian people have made sacrifices and a lesson for all of humanity, and they need your support."
