The acting governor of the Russian Rostov region, Yuri Slyusar, announced this morning, Tuesday, that the Russian air defense forces succeeded in confronting and shooting down 14 drones, using electronic warfare means in the Millerovo and Tarasovo regions within the region.
Sputnik Agency quoted Slyusar as saying via his channel on the Telegram application: "Last night, 14 drones were confronted and destroyed in the Millerovo and Tarasovo regions, thanks to the air defense forces and electronic warfare means."
Slyusar added that "according to the initial data provided by the relevant authorities, no human casualties or material damage were recorded on the ground, while the details are still being verified."
Ukrainian forces target, on an almost daily basis, the Russian border areas in Crimea and the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Voronezh and Rostov regions, with drones and missiles.
