The Zionist enemy media reported Wednesday that four soldiers were killed and seven others were injured in the battles in the Gaza Strip that the army is fighting with the Palestinian resistance.
It reported that the soldiers were killed in a difficult security incident in Beit Hanoun area north of the Strip after the resistance detonated several explosive devices at an army force of infantry and tanks, in what appeared to be a pre-planned ambush that the force was lured into.
The Zionist media reported that the soldiers were transferred to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in occupied al-Quds, indicating that the enemy army will announce the dead and the details of this incident later this evening.
For its part, al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas", said that it planned an ambush that trapped a force belonging to the enemy army north of the Strip.
Al-Qassam Brigades stated that it targeted a Merkava tank with a "Yassin 105" shell, targeted a house where an enemy army force was fortified with a "105 anti-personnel" shell, and set fire to the place where the soldiers had been stationed for ten days.
