Ons Jabeur on Tuesday qualified for the second round of the women's singles competition at the Adelaide Tennis Championship, currently being held in Australia.

The Tunisian player succeeded in achieving victory over American Danielle Collins, in two sets to none, with a score of /7-6 and 6-2/.

Ons Jabeur will meet in the second round with Kazakhstani Yulia Putintseva, who in turn defeated Croatian Donna Vekic in two sets to none with a score of /6-3 and 6-2/.

Swiss Belinda Bencic also qualified for the same round after Russian Anna Kalinskaya withdrew from the match that took place between them on Tuesday.

In the next round, Belinda will meet Russian Ludmila Samsonova, who defeated Czech Marie Bouzkova in two sets to one with a score of /1-6 and 6-4 and 6-1/.

American Ashlyn Kruger also qualified for the next round after defeating Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk in two sets to one, with a score of /4-6, 6-2, 6-2/.

The American player will meet in the next round with Spanish Paula Badosa, who defeated American Peyton Stearns in two sets to one with a score of /5-7, 6-3, 7-5/.
