Ahmad Khatami, the Friday prayer leader in Tehran, stressed that the cause of the Resistance Front is the cause of jealous and brave people who will crush the enemies under their feet.
Tasnim International News Agency quoted Sayyed Khatami in the Friday prayer sermon held at the Imam Khomeini Chapel in Tehran on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Lieutenant General Haj Qasem. Tehran, on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Lieutenant General Haj Qasem Soleimani, saying: "His Eminence the Revolution Leader said that the blood of these martyrs will not go in vain."
He added: If it were not for these martyrs, the ignorant people of God would not have left a sacred threshold for us, and the martyrs' families should hold their heads high.
He continued: Haj Qasem was sincere and his presence radiated the love of God, so God rewarded him well in this world before the hereafter. Many people come from abroad to visit the shrine of Haj Qasem.
He said: Today, the cause of the Resistance Front is the cause of brave and honorable men who will crush the enemies under their feet with God's help. We must not forget the lights of hope in these 45 years in which God has preserved this revolution.
