Atletico Madrid secured a hard-fought victory over Real Mallorca with a clean sheet in the 13th round of the La Liga season last night.

Argentine striker Julian Alvarez scored the only goal of the match in the 68th minute.

With this victory, Atletico Madrid raised its score to 26 points in third place, while Real Mallorca's score froze at 18 points in eighth place.

Barcelona are currently top of La Liga with 33 points, six points clear of second-placed Real Madrid.
