On Tuesday evening, Hezbollah in Lebanon targeted a Merkava tank with a guided missile as it attempted to advance towards the outskirts of Ramia, resulting in the tank catching fire and causing casualties among its crew.

Hezbollah said in a statement: At 06:00 pm on Tuesday, the mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance targeted a Merkava tank as it tried to advance to the outskirts of the town of Ramya with a guided missile, which led to its burning and the death and injury of its crew.

In its statement, Hizbullah stressed that this operation comes in support of the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, support for their valiant and honorable resistance, and in defense of Lebanon and its people.
