SANA'A - SABA: Parliament speaker Yahya al-Ra'i on Wednesday sent a congratulatory message to revolution leader Sayyed Mujahid Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi and President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat along with the members of the Political Council on the occasion of the 62nd anniversary of the historic September 26 Revolution.
In his message, al-Ra'i extended his warmest congratulations to the Leader of the Revolution, the President, the Political Council, the armed and security forces, and the Yemeni people, highlighting the ongoing conspiracies and genocidal attacks faced by the nation from the Zionist enemy against their brothers in Lebanon and Palestine.
He emphasized the necessity for unity, steadfastness, and the importance of rallying around the revolutionary and political leadership to counter all projects and conspiracies that threaten the unity and sovereignty of the homeland.
The Speaker pointed out that the anniversary of the September 26 Revolution is marked by the continued resilience of the Yemeni people against the brutal aggression currently facing Yemen.
He underscored the significance of this revolution in the quest for independence and liberation from foreign interference.
Al-Ra'i also highlighted the noble human values upheld by the Yemeni revolution, which advocate for the unity, independence, and sovereignty of the nation.
He called for drawing inspiration from the sacrifices made by martyrs who dedicated their lives to defend Yemen's security and stability.
Al-Ra'i expressed his hope that this national occasion would be celebrated with Yemen enjoying peace, stability, and development throughout all its regions.
