HODEIDA - SABA: A meeting in Hodeida province, chaired by Finance Minister Abduljabbar Mohammed focused on the needs of service and revenue offices in the region.

The meeting included Hodeida first undersecretary Ahmed al-Bishri and province undersecretaries for financial and administrative affairs Mohammed al-Nahari, Services Mohammed Halisi. They reviewed approved projects for the province for the year 1446 AH, assessing their implementation status and identifying challenges.

The discussion highlighted approved agricultural projects within the agricultural plan and emphasized the importance of coordinating with the Agricultural Committee, given the significance of these initiatives in the Government of Change and Construction's work program.

Minister Mohammed underscored the need to support development and service projects that directly impact citizens' daily lives.

He called for an integrated study to tackle the sewage problem, aiming for sustainable solutions within Hodeida Development Plan, and discussed plans to expand drainage channels in several neighborhoods.

The Minister directed the provision of an automatic sweeper to the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund and instructed Hodeida Support and Development Fund to supply solar energy systems for the colleges in Bajil, Zabid and Bayt al-Faqih.

Emphasizing the importance of strategic planning, he noted that the coming period would focus on strengthening the province's emergency infrastructure.

The Minister also mentioned the adoption of automation across all government offices, with efforts underway to complete the electronic collection of state revenues.

He commended Hodeida Support and Development Fund for its vital role in several strategic projects, particularly al-Hussein Solar Power Plant under the National Renewable Energy Project.

While al-Bishri expressed gratitude to the Minister for his commitment to improving basic services that affect citizens' lives, pointing out that the current year's plan prioritizes service projects alongside an emergency plan to address flood-related damages.
