HAJJAH - SABA: The directors of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs branch in Hajjah, Allan Fadael Governorate, and the Khairan Muharraq Directorate, Ahmed Bakili, initiated the distribution of cash assistance, emergency kits, and tarps to the individuals impacted by the torrential rains.
The initiative, supported by International Relief, aims to provide 519 families with financial aid amounting to 48,500 riyals per household, along with a cleaning kit, in the Masrouh, West Khamisin, East Khamisin, and Bani Hamla camps.
The inauguration event was graced by the presence of Protection specialist at the International Relief Organization .
Additionally, Allan, the director of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs' branch in the governorate, commenced the distribution of Tarabil to thousand five hundred families impacted by rain and floods in the Al-Kozia, Al-Qafla, Al-Qafra, Al-Dabaya, and Habil Al-Wasat camps within the Abs district.
The assistance is provided through the efforts of the Rawabi Al-Nahda Foundation, with funding from UNHCR, aimed at easing the hardship of families with damaged homes.
Fadael stated that the assistance is part of the Council's branch and humanitarian partners' efforts to mitigate the hardships faced by those impacted by disasters, such as the torrential rains across different directorates.
The inauguration event was graced by the presence of Maysa Khalaf, the UNHCR Representative, and Jamil Al-Qanazi, the President of the Rawabi Al-Nahda Foundation.
The 12th batch of food baskets has been distributed in the Abs district, an initiative carried out by the Pulse Organization for Development.
The initiative, sponsored by "Pure Hands," aims to assist 100 of the most impoverished and displaced families residing in the Al-Arid camp within the Abs district.
