NEW YORK September 03. 2024 (Saba) -The Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, denounced the ongoing Zionist aggression on the West Bank. He called for immediate protection and safety for Palestinians.
On the X platform, Lazzarini said on Tuesday: "The violence and destruction tore the city of Jenin and its camp for more than six days, and this caused loss of life, injuries, severe damage to infrastructure and difficulty in obtaining food, water and medicine."
Lazzarini called on the international community to intervene immediately to protect Palestinians throughout the West Bank. He pointed out that UNRWA is working to provide urgent humanitarian assistance to Palestinians in the West Bank.
