RAMALLAH September 02. 2024 (Saba) - From yesterday evening until Monday morning, the Zionist enemy forces arrested at least 22 Palestinian citizens from the West Bank, including a girl, a woman who was held hostage by the occupation, in addition to a child, two former prisoners and two from occupied Quds.

The Prisoners' Club and the Commission for Prisoners and Ex-Detainees Affairs said in a joint statement that the occupation summoned a group of girls from Hebron governorate, including students and former prisoners.

The statement added that the toll of arrests in the West Bank since the occupation announced the recent military campaign, has risen to about (130) arrests, and these cases are confirmed by institutions, in light of the continuation of the military operation in Jenin for six days, and the inability to know the final toll of arrests in the governorate, which is estimated at dozens.

He pointed out that the occupation forces continue to carry out systematic arrest campaigns, as one of the most prominent and consistent policies, which have escalated in an unprecedented manner since the start of the ongoing war of extermination, not only in terms of the level of the number of detainees, but also in terms of the level of crimes they commit, in addition to the raids on the homes of the families of the detainees, which are accompanied by extensive sabotage and destruction.

It is noteworthy that the occupation forces arrested more than ten thousand and 400 citizens from the West Bank, including Quds, since the start of the ongoing war of extermination and comprehensive aggression against the Palestinian people.

On Monday, the Israeli occupation forces arrested citizens from the town of Issawiya, northeast of occupied Quds.

Local sources said that the occupation forces stormed Al-Isawiya and arrested Mahmoud Salah and Ahmed Salah.

The same sources added that the occupation forces closed Qalandia checkpoint, north of Quds, causing a suffocating traffic crisis.
