RAMALLAH August 28. 2024 (Saba) - Zaher Jabareen, the head of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas in the occupied West Bank, has affirmed that the Zionist enemy's plans concerning the blessed al-Aqsa Mosque will ultimately fail, declaring that Jerusalem is the most significant battle for the Palestinian people.
According to the Palestinian Media Center, Jabareen stated last night that the current situation represents a profound religious conflict, driven by the actions of extremist Zionist officials. He emphasized that the pivotal struggle will center on Al-Aqsa Mosque and Jerusalem.
Jabareen warned that figures like Ben Gvir would meet the same fate as other extremists who have attacked Palestinian sanctities, drawing a parallel to Ze'evi's fate.
He highlighted that the Palestinian people have demonstrated resilience in the face of Zionist threats and crimes. Despite these challenges, Jabareen asserted that Palestinians are determined to resist the occupation through all available means.
He underscored the importance of unity among Palestinians during these challenging times and called on Fatah movement and security services in the occupied West Bank to protect the Palestinian population.
Regarding negotiations, Jabareen criticized Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, accusing him of prolonging the conflict for personal gain and holding him responsible for the lack of progress on Gaza.
Jabareen also reiterated that it is the duty of the scholars of the nation to defend al-Aqsa Mosque and other Islamic sanctities.
