GAZA August 17. 2024 (Saba) - Infectious diseases are sweeping the Gaza Strip amid a severe shortage of medicines, amid a clear intent by the Zionist enemy to create conditions for the spread of the polio virus in the Strip.

Palestinian media quoted the director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, Hussam Abu Safiya, as saying that "we are now facing a viral war waged by the Zionist enemy on Gaza, in addition to its ongoing aggression."

He also called for a humanitarian truce to work on introducing polio vaccines.
