GAZA August 16. 2024 (Saba) - The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas announced on Friday evening its rejection of the new conditions set by the Zionist entity in the proposed agreement in Doha during two days of negotiations on a truce in the Gaza Strip.
An official source in the movement said that the delegation of the Zionist enemy set new conditions in the context of the approach of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to disrupt the negotiations, such as his insistence on keeping military forces in the border strip area in the Philadelphia axis, and asked that he have the right to put a "veto" on the names of prisoners and deport other prisoners outside Palestine.
The source stressed that Hamas will accept nothing less than a complete ceasefire, a complete withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, a normal return of the displaced, and an exchange deal without restrictions and conditions of the Zionist enemy.
A new round of negotiations began in the Qatari capital on Thursday in a bid to reach a truce that would allow an exchange of hostages held in the Gaza Strip and Palestinian detainees in Zionist prisons.
