RAMALLAH August 14. 2024 (Saba) - Member of the Political Bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, Izzat al-Rishq, considered that what was revealed by the investigation of the Zionist newspaper "Haaretz" on Tuesday, about the use of Palestinian civilians as human shields by the Nazi enemy army to comb tunnels and buildings in Gaza, confirms once again that the enemy army is committing war crimes that must be condemned by the entire world.
In a statement last night, al-Rishq called on the International Court of Justice to include these confessions in war crimes file for which the occupying entity is being tried.
He also called on international and human rights organizations to expose , condemn these crimes, to prosecute and hold accountable the occupation leaders.
The Zionist newspaper said: This is happening with the knowledge of senior army officers, including Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi.
According to the investigation, soldiers from the occupation army said: Their lives are more important than the lives of the Palestinians and it is better to use them as human shields.
The investigation showed that in some cases the soldiers used children and elderly people as human shields in Gaza.
