GAZA August 07. 2024 (Saba) - Five Palestinian citizens were martyred, and others were injured in a shelling by the "Zionist enemy" targeting tents for displaced people east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
Palestinian press sources reported that on Wednesday afternoon, occupation aircraft targeted tents for displaced people in al-Shahaida area in the town of Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis.
This attack resulted in the death of five martyrs and the injury of others, who were all transported to Nasser Medical Complex for treatment.
Medical sources at Nasser Complex identified several of the martyrs as Khaled Khalil Abu Daqqa, Yahya Jihad Abu Daqqa, and Yousef Abu Nasira.
The Israeli occupation army continues its war on the Gaza Strip for the 306th day. Earlier this morning, three citizens were martyred in an Israeli bombardment targeting a residential apartment in the Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
The occupation artillery has also been targeting the eastern areas of the Gaza Strip with dozens of shells, coinciding with the intensive flight of various occupation aircraft over the Strip.
As of the latest update from the Ministry of Health in Gaza, the ongoing Israeli aggression has resulted in 39,677 martyrs and 91,645 injuries since October 7.
