The Palestinian Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs affirmed that the raising of Israeli flags by Zionist enemy forces and settlers over the roof and walls of the Ibrahimi Mosque is a serious attack and a flagrant violation of the sanctity of the mosque.
In a statement, the ministry affirmed that this step represents a blatant violation of the sanctity of the Ibrahimi Mosque, a provocation of the feelings of Muslims, and an aggression that adds to the ongoing violations against Islamic holy sites.
