GAZA August 07. 2024 (Saba) - Palestinian resistance factions have extended their congratulations to Yahya Sinwar on his election as the head of the political bureau of Hamas, succeeding the martyr leader Ismail Haniyeh.
This announcement was made last night, underscoring that Hamas remains resilient and united in the face of adversity.
The Islamic Jihad Movement congratulated Hamas on the swift appointment of Yahya Sinwar, describing it as a significant message to the Zionist enemy about Hamas’s continued strength and unity.
The movement wished Sinwar and Hamas success in achieving the Palestinian people's goals of liberation, return, and defeating the occupation.
Similarly, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine - General Command praised Hamas for selecting Yahya Sinwar as the successor to Ismail Haniyeh.
They expressed confidence in Hamas’s ability to overcome the challenges posed by Haniyeh’s martyrdom.
Fahd Suleiman, Secretary-General of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, also congratulated Sinwar. Suleiman highlighted that Sinwar's election reaffirms the unity and strength of Hamas and its commitment to the struggle for Palestinian rights.
He praised Sinwar for leading the resistance and inflicting significant losses on the occupation forces.
The Resistance Committees in Palestine celebrated the appointment of Yahya Sinwar as a decisive response to the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh.
They viewed Sinwar’s election as a blow to Zionist plans and a commitment to the Palestinian cause and the liberation of their land.
