TEHRAN July 27. 2024 (Saba) - The Iranian Foreign Ministry has issued a stern warning against any new adventures by the Zionist entity toward Lebanon, citing the recent incident in Majdal Shams in the occupied Golan Heights.
Nasser Kanaani, the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman, referenced the statements by Lebanese Hezbollah and senior officials denying any involvement in the attack on Majdal Shams. Kanaani accused the Zionist entity of creating a fake scenario to divert global attention from its ongoing genocide against Palestinian children and women in the Gaza Strip over the past ten months.
Kanaani asserted that the Zionist entity lacks the moral authority to judge the incident in Majdal Shams, emphasizing that its claims against others would not be acknowledged. He called on the international community, particularly the UN Security Council, to support the stability and security of Lebanon and the region against the aggressive actions of the Zionist entity.
He warned that any reckless actions by the Zionist entity could lead to further instability, insecurity, and war in the region, making the entity ultimately responsible for the consequences.
Kanaani also criticized the US government for continuously arming the Zionist entity with weapons of mass destruction and honoring its criminal prime minister. He urged the US to fulfill its international and moral responsibilities, work for global peace and security, and prevent the Zionist entity from igniting a new conflict that could have widespread repercussions.
