TEHRAN July 25. 2024 (Saba) - The Revolution Leader and the Islamic Republic of Iran, Sayyed Ali Khamenei, affirmed that “the movement of American students to support Palestine is very large, and has forced the American government to violate all its claims and slogans about human rights and freedom of expression.”
In a speech according to Iranian news agencies, Sayyed Khamenei said: This movement prompted the United States to resort to “suppressing universities and using violence against students, in front of the eyes of the world without any courtesy.”
On July 6, Sayyed Khamenei sent a message to the 58th meeting of the Union of Islamic Student Associations in Europe, in which he referred to the current complex world issues and their important role in them.
In the details of the message, Sayyed Khamenei said: The Union of Islamic Student Societies and its ongoing activities “is a promising phenomenon, as this collective presence can play a leadership role in ongoing and complex issues around the world.”
Also among the most important current issues, according to Mr. Khamenei, is “the faint but promising glimmer of popular protests, especially student protests in America and Europe. The West Asia region, as well as Iran, faces multiple issues of varying importance.”
Earlier, Sayyed Khamenei sent a message to American university students, in which he expressed his sympathy and support for them, after they went to the field to defend the children and women of Gaza... stressing that history is turning its pages, and that they are on the right side of it.
