Deputy Prime Minister Mohammed al-Madani, Agriculture Minister Dr. Radwan al-Rubai'i and Capital Mayor Dr. Hamoud Ubad on Wednesday reviewed and participated in a fruit tree planting campaign in al-Thawra and al-Wahda districts.
The officials planted trees on Western Sixtieth Street and coffee seedlings on Algeria Street, part of an initiative by the Capital Secretariat's Agriculture Sector and Knights of Development.
Al-Madani highlighted the economic and environmental benefits, urging community participation and the establishment of local nurseries.
Mayor Ubad noted over 13,500 fruit trees planted in ten months, emphasizing continued efforts to green the capital and foster agricultural development.
