GAZA July 25. 2024 (Saba) -A legal team have announced the prosecution of the Zionist enemy before the International Criminal Court for three crimes committed during the ongoing war on Gaza.
The legal team explained on Tuesday in a press release that the first complaint is related to the crime of the eighth of June 2024, when the Zionist army attacked the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, causing the martyrdom of 270 Palestinians for the purpose of releasing four Zionist prisoners.
He stated that the defense team is filing the complaint on behalf of fifteen victims who died directly in the attack.
According to the statement, the delegation is headed by Gilles Dover, Abdul Majeed Marari, Issa Goltasslar, and Khaled Al-Shuli.
The second complaint concerns Dr. Adnan Al-Barsh, a famous Palestinian orthopedic surgeon, who was arrested by the Zionist enemy army on November 14 while performing his medical and humanitarian duties at Al-Awda Hospital.
Al-Borsh died as a martyr in prison for torture and ill-treatment and was not confronted with any charge or tried within a proper legal framework.
The statement stated that the complaint was filed on behalf of his brother, who authorized the legal team to sue the Zionist enemy.
The third complaint is filed by Dr. Mohamed Abu Salmiya, a pediatrician and general manager of Al-Shifa Medical Complex, who was arrested by the Zionist enemy army on November 15 on a completely false and illegal basis on charges of having a military base protected by the hospital.
Abu Salmiya, who was released in early July, was tortured and ill-treated in two Zionist prisons and was neither charged nor tried.
The legal team indicated that on the sidelines of the judicial proceedings at the headquarters of the International Criminal Court in The Hague, a working meeting will be held with the Victims Section of the Court, in order to organize the collective and individual defense of the very large number of victims, which has so far registered the files of 756 Palestinians in Gaza, and the list is still long.
