SANA'A July 15. 2024 (Saba) - The Faculties of Administrative Sciences and Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Science and Technology organized on Saturday a stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people, under the slogan: “We stand firm with Gaza and we will confront America and those involved with it.”
Participants in the protest, which included university members, academics, and administrators, raised the Yemeni and Palestinian flags, and displayed slogans against American and Zionist arrogance, expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people and their valiant resistance.
The participants denounced the brutal massacres committed by the Zionist enemy against the residents of Gaza over a period of 10 months, the latest of which was the horrific massacre against the displaced in Mawasi of Khan Yunis area in the southern Gaza Strip, which claimed the lives of more than 400 people, including martyrs and wounded, “most of them children and women,” amidst continued American and Western support, and cooperation and conspiracy from some normalized and traitorous Arab regimes.
The participants expressed full support and authorization for the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and the Yemeni armed forces to continue military operations against the Zionist enemy.
In a statement, the stand has commended the resilience and heroism of the Palestinian people and their mujahideen, who continue to resist the Zionist forces with remarkable bravery. The movement reaffirmed the unwavering support of the Yemeni people for the Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank, emphasizing ongoing military operations, official and public events, and continuous mobilization efforts aimed at achieving victory.
The statement also lauded the active student movements in American and European universities for their support of the Palestinian cause, along with the solidarity shown by free peoples worldwide. It highlighted the impactful operations carried out by various support and resistance fronts, underscoring their significance in aiding the Palestinian struggle.
Furthermore, the statement issued a warning to the Saudi regime against following American directives that serve Zionist interests, asserting the Yemeni people's right to take necessary actions against such endeavors.
