HODEIDA July 10. 2024 (Saba) - Hodeida University on Wednesday organized a solidarity stand to celebrate recent security achievements in uncovering a spy cell and to express support for the decisions of the revolutionary leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, as well as solidarity with the Palestinian people.
During the event, attended by University Rector Dr. Mohammed al-Ahdal and governor’s undersecretary for Services Affairs Mohammed Halisi, the importance of mobilization efforts in supporting Palestinian brothers and demonstrating cohesion in confronting Yemen's adversaries was emphasized.
Halisi commended the security services for their success in dismantling the significant spy network, urging leadership to cleanse state institutions of traitors and agents.
He highlighted the armed forces' recent victories defending the nation’s sovereignty and honor, particularly applauding strategic security accomplishments achieved by Yemeni security forces.
Further emphasizing the need to purge institutions of corruption and betrayal, Halisi called for stringent measures and maximum penalties against offenders, pledging ongoing support for future escalation stages in backing the Palestinian cause.
The stand also reiterated calls for continued Arab, Islamic, and global solidarity with Palestine, urging comprehensive political and economic boycotts against enemies.
Participants included college deans, faculty members, university employees, and students, both male and female, underscoring a unified front in supporting national security and regional solidarity efforts.
