TEHRAN July 05. 2024 (Saba) - The Commander of the Iranian Internal Security Forces, Brigadier General Ahmed Reza Radan, announced today, Friday, that the presidential elections are taking place in a completely safe atmosphere.

Tasnim International News Agency quoted Brigadier General Radan, in a statement, saying: We witnessed very good participation from citizens in this round of elections, and security prevails throughout the country.

This Friday morning, Iranian Interior Minister Ahmed Vahidi announced in a press conference the start of the second round of presidential elections.

The Iranian Interior Minister said: Voting in the elections is taking place in more than 56,000 electoral districts.

In these elections, to assume the position of president of the fourteenth Islamic Republic of Iran, the two candidates, Masoud Pezeshkian and Saeed Jalili, are competing.
