Slovenia announced that it will act with other like-minded countries if the European Union does not take concrete action within the next two weeks to address the worsening humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip, which has been subjected to a genocidal campaign by Israel, the occupying power, for 21 months.
In statements to reporters on the sidelines of an EU summit in Brussels on Thursday evening, Slovenian Prime Minister Robert Golube said that some EU countries are putting their own interests first rather than protecting the human rights of the Palestinian people.
