SANA'A June 24. 2024 (Saba) - In the square east of the People's Mosque, the people of Al-Wahda, Al-Safia, and Al-Sabeen districts in the capital secretariat organized a celebration event on the day of the guardianship of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib - peace be upon him.
At the event, which was attended by the Caretaker Deputy Prime Minister for National Vision Affairs, Mahmoud Al-Junaid, the Head of the Supreme Elections Committee, Judge Muhammad Al-Salmi, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Abdul Salam Hashol, and the Director of the Prime Minister’s Office, Taha Al-Sufyani, the cultural activist Tawfiq Shaddad stressed the importance of commemorating State Day to draw lessons from the biography of Imam Ali - peace be upon him - and his asceticism, courage, sacrifice, piety, and his stances in supporting the Holy Prophet and the Islamic religion.
For his part, Director of Programs at Al Masirah Channel, Hamid Rizk, pointed out the importance of commemorating the state in order to gain from the values and principles that Imam Ali, peace be upon him, embodied and embody them in reality.
He stressed that the Islamic nation embodies the meanings of true loyalty and getting out of the weak situation it is experiencing and returning to the right path, which represents the safety valve and the fortified fortress of the Islamic nation, and enables it to confront the forces of tyranny and disbelief.
Rizk pointed out that the steadfastness of the Yemeni people over nine years embodies the meanings of pride, faith, and the strength of sincere devotion to God, His Messenger, Imam Ali, peace be upon him, and the icons of guidance in confronting the enemies of the nation and Islam.
