KIGALI June 12. 2024 (Saba) - A ceasefire should be reached in Gaza, the Rwandan president said on Tuesday, underlining the need for an end to the Palestinian people's suffering, and protection for children and other civilians from this lingering conflict.

There should be a humanitarian mechanism to solve this crisis by uniting the international efforts and reach a direct decision ending the conflict, Paul Kagame added at the International Conference for Gaza Emergency Humanitarian Response, organized by Egypt, Jordan and the UN in Jordan.
