GENEVA June 11. 2024 (Saba) - The United Nations on Tuesday expressed its "deep shock" at the large number of civilian martyrs in the massacre committed by the Zionist army in Nossairat camp.
All of these actions could amount to war crimes, spokesman for the UN Human Rights Office told the press in Geneva, noting that it was up to the courts to determine whether this was the case.
"The manner in which the operation (liberating the hostages) was carried out in a similar densely populated area raises serious questions about the Israeli forces' respect for the principles of distinction, proportionality and caution, as stipulated in the laws of war," Jeremy Lawrence added.
"We are deeply shocked by the number of civilian deaths in the Israeli operation over the weekend in the Nossairat camp to secure the release of four hostages," he said.
