SANA'A June 11. 2024 (Saba) - The Yemeni Authority for Standardization, Metrology and Quality Control participated in “Our Eid is Local” festival, organized today,Tuesday, by the Cooperative Union for Textiles , Clothing and Producing Families, under the auspices of the Supreme Agricultural and Fisheries Committee.
The Executive Director of the Authority, Sam Al-Bashiri, explained that the Authority’s participation in the festival comes within the framework of supporting textile products and the local clothing industry, improving their quality, and enhancing their competitiveness in the local and foreign markets.
Al-Bashiri pointed out that the Authority is working to help and develop national industries and local producers by preparing approved Yemeni standard specifications, providing consultation , technical support, and ensuring the extent to which these products conform to the standard specifications.
He stressed the Authority's readiness to provide all types of support to Yemeni clothing , textile manufacturers , productive families, to provide technical support to factories, laboratories, establishments to help them develop them and improve their competitive advantages.
