MEXICO CITY May 29. 2024 (Saba) - Hundreds of pro-Palestine activists in the Mexican capital late on Tuesday organized a mass demonstration in front of the embassy of the Zionist enemy, to protest the massacres and genocide committed in Gaza Strip.

The demonstration began in the Lomas de Chapultepec neighborhood, where Mayor Miguel Hidalgo's office is located in Mexico City, AFP said, with hundreds carrying Palestinian flags and calling on the Mexican government to reject "the genocide and killing of children practiced by the Israeli occupier in Gaza Strip."

Police tried to prevent protesters from advancing towards the diplomatic compound, fired tear gas and threw stones at participants, leaving injuries.

Mexico has witnessed numerous protests against Israel's ongoing brutal aggression on Gaza and Western support for this aggression.
