TUNISIA March 01. 2024 (Saba) - Arab lawyers participating in the 11th Young Lawyers Conference, held in Tunisia, called for the necessity of confronting the Zionist enemy through international courts in order to hold it accountable and expose its crimes.
According to what was reported by the Palestinian Information Center on Thursday, the conference, in which lawyers from various Arab countries participated, was held under the slogan "The Role of Arab Law in Supporting the Palestinian Cause."
Head of the Young Lawyers Association in Tunisia Tariq al-Harkati said the Zionist enemy does not respect international norms and laws, stressing the necessity of preparing strong files to declare a legal war against it, in addition to the economic, cultural and military war.
Al-Harkati stressed the necessity of confronting the enemy in the field of law and international courts, calling on all professional bodies of lawyers to submit strong files to international justice, to expose the Zionist occupier and hold it accountable.
In turn, President of the Arab Organization of Young Lawyers Alaa Shawn stressed the extremely important role of lawyers in supporting the Palestinian cause, through pleadings before international courts, and defending the most humane and just cause in this world.
The lawyers participating in the conference praised the lawsuit filed by the State of South Africa against the Zionist enemy and the unprecedented global support it received, calling on all countries to follow suit.
