TEHRAN February 14. 2024 (Saba) - The commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy Rear Admiral Alireza Tangsiri announced on Wednesday the design and construction of three advanced high-speed boats capable of installing long-range missiles.
The Iranian "Tasnim" news agency quoted Tangsiri as saying that the design and construction of advanced speedboats was paid attention to flexibility and continuity in sailing and navigation, and the material of the boats was changed from fiberglass to aluminum.
The capability of these boats is that for the first time in the world, a missile with a range of 30 kilometers with destructive power and high accuracy was installed on an eight-meter boat.
In a related context, the naval forces of the Revolutionary Guards on Wednesday removed new cruise missile systems on the islands of Pomosi and Greater Tunb.
