BEIRUT July 09. 2023 (SABA) - The Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council of Lebanese Hezbollah, Sheikh Ali Daamoush, confirmed that the Zionist community would discover Netanyahu's lie about the resistance and that Jenin would remain a solid base for resistance in the occupied West Bank.
Al-Manar quoted Sheikh Daamoush in a statement on Sunday: "Crises and political and security concerns are going after the entity of the Zionist enemy and contributing to the erosion of its deterrence power and today's occupying entity is at its worst.
He explained that the attack on Jenin and its camp was aimed at eliminating Palestinian resistance and its military infrastructure in the city, crushing the resistance and trying to draw new equations.
He added: "Zionist calculations have once again been miscalculated. None of the enemy's stated or implied objectives have been achieved.
He continued: "The heroic fighters in Jenin who stood on one side of the various arms of the resistance, fought professionally and with unparalleled valour and courage, and in high spirits, planted terror in the path of the enemy, forcing him to withdraw under fire, drawing the tails of disappointment and defeat.
He stressed that the Zionist enemy entity had been unable to crush the Palestinian resistance in the city of Jenin, nor to eliminate the resistance's military infrastructure in general.
The Zionist enemy's army had failed to draw new equations in front of the Palestinian resistance, or to achieve a strategic change in existing ones.
He stressed that the Zionist community would discover Netanyahu's lie when he found that the resistance situation would not be affected, that it would continue its active and influential presence in the face of occupation, from the city and its camp, and that Jenin would remain a solid base for resistance in the West Bank.
